La Aldea

La Aldea is a Spanish phrase meaning “The Village”. The La Aldea was completed in November of 2016. Connected by a spacious covered deck, this building features six units with separate entrances. One of the units is a roomy suite decorated in Southwestern/Old Mexico flair, with an open floor plan for the living room and kitchen. The other five units are decorated with distinctive designs ranging from peaceful night sky blues to romantic reds. Each features built-in cabinetry, elegant plush bedding, linens and towels. The La Aldea building is situated just to the west of Nyumba and south of El Pescador. Guests are able to enjoy the spacious deck or outdoor fire pit before entering 1 of 6 private rooms. The La Aldea building can sleep 14 comfortably, each room with its own front door access.

“We stayed for our son’s wedding - 11 family members booked one of the houses and it was perfect! The master suite has a full living room and kitchen, as well as a great and comfortable front porch. The rest of the rooms are connected by the porch, which wraps around the building. Each room was well decorated, beautifully furnished and had wonderful bedding and great throw blankets to ward off the chill as we sat on the porch late into the evening. The staff went out of their way to accommodate, leaving their cell numbers and insisting we text if we needed anything! Surrounding the property are a wonderful collection of African antelope and my only disappointment is not to have seen the granddaddy Asante in person! Highly recommend!!!”
